Implementing Inclusive Practices for ALL Learners

At Meta, my primary focus is to help the Devices department improve its hiring process by evaluating the job description text seen by possible candidates and interview questions asked by hiring managers. The goal is to remove potential barriers that candidates from historically excluded groups face in Meta's hiring process and implement more inclusive practices.

This Education Transfer Plan (ETP) aims to provide my colleagues with professional development (PD) centered around implementing inclusive practices for all learners. The PD will include a google slide containing introductions & norms, defining inclusive education, and three key strategies for teachers to implement. As a form of assessment, teachers will have the opportunity to review a past or future lesson plan identifying areas where they may already be using some of the strategies or identifying places where they may be able to add other supports or practices.
