Onboarding 101

At Meta I created an online curriculum for onboarding sales channels and other supporting cross functional teams. The curriculum welcomed new hires to Reality Labs, expeditiously acquainted them with their specific role and in the end provided a clear understanding of how all cross functional teams intersect and work together. My lesson will involve “onboarding” my students to my freshman and sophomore biology class. They will learn about Canvas, our course management system, in an organized and efficient manner. The lesson will require them to be able to locate specific content, and ultimately end in a Canvas “scavenger hunt” online.
