Unclogging Artery is an engineering project that challenges students to develop a device to treat coronary heart disease. Students will follow the design process and record their actions and reflections in an Engineering Notebook. Students will build and test their device on plastic tubes with frosting, “plaque”. Students will then put together an oral presentation with the focus of trying to sell their device to a panel of “surgeons”. Students will be developing their collaboration and creativity skills with this project.
