Students will be able to write a grant proposal, using elements of argumentative writing such as creating a solid claim, addressing counterclaims, and using evidence.
Students model Earth’s water resources and cycle, then design computer simulations to explore how rising carbon emissions and pollutants affect water quality and quantity.
Students will plan, design, and construct their own community map of a town after interviewing an Urban Planner Subject Matter Expert as part of a 6 week long Project Based Learning unit that I have previously developed.
Exploring water management by estimating and calculating the percentage of available freshwater on Earth.
