This ETP provides high school science teachers with a structured framework to connect with the local STEM community, engage in content- or industry-specific training, and collaboratively translate new scientific practices into actionable classroom strategies.
In this lesson, students learn to identify factors affecting aquatic ecosystem health by collecting and analyzing chemical and physical data from a digital source in preparation for testing actual local water samples.

Students will research sustainable careers in the area. A list of local companies and careers will be provided to students who will then fill out a Google slides template explaining the career. Students will then present their slideshow to their classmates.
Students will use digital tools to investigate and analyze our local watershed. Through collaborative small group discussions, they will evaluate and identify point and non-point sources of pollution impacting the watershed's health.
This ETP engages students in collaborative design teams to create digital artwork in Adobe Illustrator for screen printing and sale at a school pop-up shop.
This lesson introduces students to classroom community-building, mindset development, and reflective practices by modeling professional onboarding and mentorship strategies.
This two-week long mini-unit focuses on students completing an investigation and contributing their findings to Soil Science Lab, a citizen science project.
