2016

Students will learn the concept of drawing flow charts to break down difficult lab procedures. Students will begin by using labs used in the iCLEM program to practice the skill of flow charts. This allows the instructor to describe the iCLEM project and the importance behind the science being performed at JBEI. Through a formal density lab, students will design a flowchart of the procedure required to identify 6 different unknown metals. They will be able to understand how the physical properties of atoms can be used to identify unknown elements.
