Clinical Systems and COVID-19

uring my fellowship at UCSF I plan to observe the clinical informatics side of the health care system, what happens in the background, learn about the various careers involved and how much impact these careers can have. During the COVID-19 pandemic the clinical health systems team was in charge of COVID-19 task force. I plan to take what I have learned from the clinical health systems team to inform my students about various career pathways within the health care system. Students will demonstrate group work, problem solving and creativity. Students will focus on how individuals are utilizing data to drive decision making within the health care systems.
