The goal of this ETP is to engage my colleagues in a meaningful discussion and activity around collaboration. Collaboration is a 21st century skill educators strive to model and teach to their students. This ETP focuses on engaging the faculty of my school to collaborate on some of foundational questions about student collaboration: What is collaboration? Why should we do it? What makes good collaboration? How do we know? With what measures can we evaluate it? How can we improve student collaboration? How can we teach collaboration in our classrooms? Teachers will be given the opportunity to experience how their students learn in collaboration dialogue by participating in collaborative activities, and evaluating their own efforts to work together.
