At the Virtual Human Interaction Lab (VHIL) at Stanford University, I created a mini unit on ocean acidification. This curriculum is divided into three main sections.
Part 1. Background information about the ocean in order for students to be able to understand what ocean acidification is.
Part 2. Students learn what ocean acidification is, how it is caused, and its ramifications.
Part 3. Students learn what they can do to mitigate ocean acidification by lowering their carbon footprint and how to communicate their new found knowledge with others.

All of the content for students is contained in a formatted booklet that you can print or have students use online. This curriculum may be used in marine science, biology, environmental science, chemistry, and earth science.
