Las Carreras de IT (IT Careers)

While at Synopsys I learned about the different roles each IT member plays to effectively perform as a team. I also observed a notable representation of Spanish speakers in technology. Technology is growing and changing faster than we know. Employers are constantly changing job descriptions aligned with new technology and knowing a second language can be an advantage. Eleventh grade students will collaborate to discover the skills, knowledge and college degrees needed to succeed in the Informational Technology field. In addition, students will analyze the number of Spanish speakers contributing to the IT field. As a resource, interviews of current Spanish speakers in the IT field will be provided via video links as well as online articles about the benefits of being bilingual.
