Mystery of the Missing Teacher

In this lab the students will be creating genetic fingerprints to compare DNA that was found at a crime scene with the victim and the suspects. The students will first run gels with uncut DNA and DNA that has been cut by restriction enzymes for practice and so they can see the various bands in the gel, and then will use the DNA collected at the crime scene. The students will be evaluated by a written lab report.
