Before You Apply – What to Expect

Fellowship Eligibility Criteria:

  • Availability for the full time commitment of the fellowship, including:

    1. In-person orientation on June 6th, 2026 (9AM-12 PM)

    2. In-person/ hybrid participation at company sites within the Ignited Service Area- most Fellowships are in Santa Clara, San Mateo, and Alameda counties

    3. Full-time work schedule of standard business hours from June 8-July 31, 2026 (7-8 weeks)

  • At least two school years of teaching experience by the end of the current school year

  • Full-time (75% or more) employment as a teacher, counselor, technology coordinator, instructional coach, or administrator.

  • A teaching contract for the next school year (must hold or be able to attain)
    -Note that your principal will automatically receive an endorsement request following your application submission.

  • Intent to remain in the education field for the next three years.
