Product Quality Control- a Statistical Simulation

This exercise models the analysis that manufacturers must go through to determine whether a manufactured component meets acceptance criteria. Using packages of M&M’s students will using the tools of mean and standard deviation, determine if the color distribution is random or organized, and if organized what the ‘target’ distribution is. Lastly they will compare their own package contents to determine if the package passes what class determines the ‘appropriate’ color distribution to be.
