Stanford Biomimicry Challenge: Crisis Interrupt
Web link opens in a new tab; file link initiates download.
The goal of this ETP is to expose students to the Biomimicry process of using innovation from nature to solve problems. We will be using AskNature.org to identify a design principal (function in AskNature.org), which will be used as inspiration to solve a personal, school, local, or world crisis or an aspect of the crisis. This lesson uses Design Thinking, with the assumption that students have already been exposed to the Design Thinking process. The lesson is taught through slideshows and discussion.
