Code For Change: The Internet

Students will be introduced to the Internet of Things. They should understand the physical structure of the internet and grasp a basic understanding of binary by the end of this lesson.
Students will create a physical model of the internet using strings and physically moving in the classroom, participate in a demonstration using interactive binary cards, make their own secret message by encoding using Unicode, explore a virtual data center, and physically redesign a data center using materials provided by the teacher.
