This project translates complex research in statistical mechanics and AI from the Rotskoff Group at Stanford into accessible, hands-on learning experiences for high school students.
Students use a large language model to build an AI app that generates customized explanations of academic concepts at different complexity levels, supporting personalized and accessible learning for all students.
This is a self‑paced cybersecurity workbook series designed for individuals of all ages, helping them explore key concepts around online safety, privacy, and digital responsibility.
The goal of this ETP is for students to understand what cybersecurity is, how it works, and why it matters in today’s world of increasingly connected devices. Students will also explore how their personal choices and actions impact the security of their data and devices.
Students will be introduced to different types of artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms, including those used to operate space-based platforms (such as satellites).
The class will form a mythical “company” and take on the roles of various jobs, such as CEO, marketing specialist, factory worker, etc. They will then utilize AI tools to see how well AI can perform those jobs.
Students will investigate robotics and satellites with a hands-on activity: navigating through a maze as a satellite while using commands from a robot.
Students will explore cybersecurity and the vulnerabilities equity process (VEP) to learn how the government uses information acquired for cybersecurity purposes.
