Communication and Collaboration to Achieve a Group Task

This ETP is primarily focuses on the collaborative process of students learning information and teaching that information to their group (jigsaw) to establish background information for an experiment using the scientific method. The students have had previous lessons on collaboration and communication and are now using those skills to achieve a group task. Students will work in groups of 4 researching photosynthesis and carnivorous plants specifically the cape sundew and ultimately designing an experiment around the question: Do carnivorous plants need insects to survive, or can they survive on photosynthesis alone?
