Modeling Mathematics using PowerPoint

The goal of this ETP is for students to model a mathematical concept learned during the semester. Each student will create an animated PowerPoint presentation, with a partner, in which they apply a self-selected concept or formula to a real life situation. Students will share their presentations with each other at the end of the semester as a means to review for the final exam. Through this open-ended project, students will experience Pre-Calculus topics in a hands-on fashion and will deepen their understanding as they formulate their explanation of an application of the concept they choose.
