Students begin in whole group to introduce vocabulary and terms. They will then partner up or be in small groups to watch short videos about solar energy. They will be introduced to the power of solar energy and the processes used to convert solar energy into electromagnetic and thermal energy.
Following an introductory lesson on constructive and destructive interference and Young’s double slit experiment, students will be introduced to the history, design, and function of a Michelson interferometer.
