Cause and Effects of Underrepresentation in STEM Fields

This language arts lesson plan is for students to watch two videos, and then read an article about how women and minorities are currently being underrepresented in STEM fields. Students will trace the cause-and-effect relationship between education and the lack of these groups using graphic organizers, and write a paragraph to identify the multiple sources of the problem.
