CyberEthics: Cyber Deliberation

In this lesson, students will be challenged within three areas of cybersecurity and hold a Structured Academic Controversy discussion from an assigned stakeholder position. Students will participate in a Structured Academic Controversy discussion on the following topics: Privacy/Security: Ethical Question: “Should platforms like Facebook, Twitter, or Google+ treat teens differently than other users?” Cyber warfare: Ethical Question: “Should white-hat hackers be encouraged to create programs to monitor communications applications, such as Twitter, to actively prevent terrorist threats?” Artificial Intelligence: Ethical Question: “Should AI be utilized to replace human workers in assembly line jobs?”
