Example of a Machine Learning Application

We are using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in many areas of daily life. As CS and other college students develop progress in their academic career, it is important to be aware that: AI impacts many different areas of daily life, AI can now be productively accessible by many including those who may have had little experience with programming. Machine learning (ML) is a specific field of AI. There are currently publicly available ML tools which would allow for a fast entry into building an application which can lead to other specific impactful uses. Students will complete a tutorial on an example ML program. Following this, students will discuss and develop ideas for: Specific examples of real-world uses of the results of the program, possible positive impact on society and individual life, unintended consequences of uses of ML
