From Sand to Smartphones: Exploring Microchips

Students investigate how microchips are made from sand, how they function in our devices, and how they are produced in nearby facilities. Students design a prototype of a future smartphone that uses renewable materials and is more sustainable than today’s models through a collaborative Project-Based Learning experience.
