The goal of this ETP is to have students practice “Active Listening Skills.” It is part of a unit meant to train students in mentorship skills and with the goal of eventually beginning mentoring younger students to increase participation in STEM classes.
Students with special education services, particularly students with learning disabilities, need more opportunities to practice and to develop their soft skills (adaptability, active listening, communication, creative thinking, teamwork, and time management).
Semiconductors are the backbones of electronic devices that are commonly used by people today. A lot of people know and use these common electronic devices such as smartphones, video game consoles, and automobiles.
It’s the 21st century! Show your students that they can be a graphic designer for the tech industry too! In this ETP, Students will develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity skills beyond what they imagined.
In this semester-long elective using activities created by SEMI High Tech U, students will explore diverse education and career pathways related to high tech industries with a focus on semiconductors. In the course students will build professional skills, personal skills and make connections.
