This ETP introduces teachers to Brisk, an AI-powered tool for evaluating student writing. Through hands-on sessions, teachers learn to provide targeted, efficient feedback using rubrics, streamlining the writing assessment process while supporting student growth.
This ETP provides high school science teachers with a structured framework to connect with the local STEM community, engage in content- or industry-specific training, and collaboratively translate new scientific practices into actionable classroom strategies.
Students investigate how microchips are made from sand, how they function in our devices, and how they are produced in nearby facilities.
Students will be able to make observations about the trash in a creek behind our playground and collect data on the type of trash in the creek. Does it come from homes or is it wrappers from students’ snacks?
In this lesson, students learn to identify factors affecting aquatic ecosystem health by collecting and analyzing chemical and physical data from a digital source in preparation for testing actual local water samples.
In this interactive STEM challenge, students will work in teams to design and build their own water filtration systems using simple materials while exploring the real-world concepts of microfiltration, reverse osmosis, and ultraviolet light.
