Concerns about access to clean, potable water are projected to rise with the ever-drying climate and increase in global population.
Water is a valuable resource that all organisms need to survive. We utilize water in our daily lives in a multitude of ways. Students will use linear equations and systems of equations to calculate and analyze how much water they use in their daily lives.
My ETP is hands-on Science Unit (5 Lessons-All About Water ) that will help students develop a greater understanding, deeper knowledge and appreciation of water and its integral part of life on this planet.
Re-inventing the Nation's Urban Water Infrastructure (ReNUWIt), in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford, studies stormwater collection. In the water unit in Environmental Science, we study water resources and water pollution.
In my research at UC-Berkeley's Water Center, I am conducting on-line research on water saving appliances and fixtures.
