CRISPR technology has revolutionized the field of genetic engineering due to its accuracy and ease of use. Scientists can use this system to precisely modify DNA at specific loci, which has tremendous potential to benefit human life.
DDT and the Environment introduces the detrimental phenomenon of biomagnification using the example of DDT. After learning about the history of DDT and effects to the environment, students will be given data to analyze about how DDT flows through a food chain/food web in an ecosystem.
At the Virtual Human Interaction Lab (VHIL) at Stanford University, I created a mini unit on ocean acidification. This curriculum is divided into three main sections.
