The purpose of this teacher staff development is to prepare teachers to work with a skill to manage daily stress levels, be more resilient or agile, and to pass this skill on to students to prepare them for the workforce.
The second part of our design thinking lesson will allow teachers the opportunity to critically analyze, synthesize, and build upon the ideas generated in the first part of the lesson.
In this lesson, students will learn to recognize and draw 2-dimensional shapes having specified attributes, such as a given number of angles or a given number of sides. The teacher will address certain misconceptions students might have about shape recognition.
