Students will define the problem of stock market analysis and design models in machine learning to support the analysis.
This is a two-day math lesson where students will play the role of Cisco’s CFO and decide whether building a new campus makes financial sense for the company.
Basic Idea. Take old public information about US Corporations and ask groups of students to take hypothetical control of these companies. The teacher will go through the years and provide large global or national events from specific years.
This lesson supports students’ understanding of functions, algebraic manipulation with variables and constants, and collaboration through computer programming.
