They say “a picture is worth a thousand words.” This old adage can also be applied to scientific data tables, graphs and infographics. Have you ever sat in on a lab meeting where the scientists were discussing an intriguing figure? They could go on for hours and hours!
While I’ve taught classes on VEX robotics, the curriculum so far has focused on making a robot that can drive and lift. Although these tasks are foundational, I hope to give my students authentic robotics experiences that connect to the problems roboticists are solving.
