This laboratory investigation allows students to participate in a HIV test simulation by using an ELISA Assay to test for the presence of HIV antibodies in two simulated patient blood samples.
So far my class has learned the proper care and use of a microscope. Today’s lesson provides the students with examples of modern uses of this tool, focusing on Histology, microscope slide preparation, and pathology, using slides to diagnose ailments, with a focus on cancer.
