Before applying, please confirm that you can live and participate within the Bay Area or Seattle Area service region for the full 7-8 week Fellowship if selected for an on-site or hybrid placement.
- SF Bay Area Fellowships are primarily located in Santa Clara County, with additional opportunities in Alameda and San Mateo Counties.
- Sattle Area Fellowships are primarily located in Downtown Seattle and surrounding areas.
We encourage applicants to review potential commute times and transportation options before applying. Most Fellowship host organizations require fellows to be on-site during standard business hours, while few may offer hybrid experiences.
Applicants from outside the Bay Area or Seattle Area are welcome to apply. However, if selected, you must be able to live and participate within the Fellowship region for the full fellowship period. A limited number of remote opportunities may be available, but applicants who are only available for remote placements should expect significantly fewer Fellowship options.
Applicants relocating temporarily for a Fellowship are responsible for securing and funding their own housing and transportation. Ignited does not provide housing, relocation, or transportation assistance.
Fellowship hosts make the final selection decisions. Some hosts prefer to work with local educators and schools, while others are open to applicants from outside the region.
